Many personal devices are making their way into the workplace and being used for business purposes. It is important that your company has a policy in place to govern these devices and protect your company resources, rights and information.
This Bring Your Own Device Policy contains guidelines and information for approved devices, personal device registration, personal and company rights related to the device, and device security. The policy also contains exemption, breach and indemnity clauses to further protect the company interests while maintaining the rights of employees. The procedure can easily be customized by replacing the tokens in brackets with company details and other applicable information. You can further edit this procedure by adding sections for specific rules or devices.
