A new privacy policy, and a GDPR representative in the EU

Using Way We Do

We’ve recently updated our Privacy Policy at Way We Do to incorporate the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). With a growing number of Way We Do users around the world (17 countries at last tally), many doing business in Europe, it’s important to us to have the right frameworks in place to make sure everyone’s data is protected. And as part of our GDPR-friendly approach, we’ve recently engaged European Data Protection Office (EDPO) as our representative to support our European users. If you’re a Way We Do user based in the EU, you can contact the EDPO directly for any help you may need with the GDPR in the context of using Way We Do.

Our new Privacy Policy sets out key areas such as:

  • the nature of data processing
  • collecting information
  • the types of information we collect, and what we use it for
  • how and why we collect and process information
  • how we manage overseas data transfers with our service partners, and who they are.

It also sets out your rights with respect to the data we process, including the right to restrict what we use, and to revoke your consent at any time. We’ve done our best to make it easy to read – no fine print – so be sure to check it out here https://www.waywedo.com/privacy-policy/ and let us know your thoughts.

Data security best practice: It’s SOP at Way We Do

At Way We Do, your data security is our top priority, regardless of what country (or countries) you operate in. We maintain best practice security measures across our business – including technology and training for our team members, along with third party penetration testing.

If you have questions or concerns at any time, we are more than happy to help. Just reach out via support@waywedo.com or you can call us on +61 7 3303-8677 (during Australian business hours) or +1 415 633-8835 (during USA Pacific Time).

If you’re in the EU, you can also get in touch with EDPO either by email – privacy@edpo.brussels or complete their request form online at https://www.edpo.brussels/contact.
